How Bookfill Works

Bookfill connects to your Notion workspace to fetch the names or ISBNs of the books you add and automatically fills the other book details for you so you don't have to enter them yourself. Bookfill also generates a beautiful book cover image.

How to use Bookfill

Bookfill connects to a database of books called Bookshelf. It can be used with our My Bookshelf free Notion template or with your own Notion reading list with some changes

Are you affiliated with Notion?
No, we are not affiliated with Notion. We only provide Bookfill as a service to Notion users.
What book identifiers can I use to trigger Bookfill?
You can use either the book title, ISBN 10 or ISBN 13. Using ISBN results in a more accurate result. ASIN cannot be used to trigger Bookfill.
Does Bookfill only work with the Bookshelf template or can I use it with my pre-existing Notion reading list?
You can use absolutely use Bookfill with your preexisiting Notion reading list! Find our detailed guide here.
Why is the wrong book being Bookfilled?
The application fetches the most relevant result, which is not always accurate. Adding books with ISBN fetches the best results.
